The fastening is the design here. A heart-shaped clasp hooks into a round catch, so the two shapes meet at the wrist rather than hiding away at the back. The heart is drawn in clean outline with no ornament, and the circle stops it reading as sentimental. It is a small idea, simply done.
It is made in recycled sterling silver with a polished finish. The chain is fine and moves freely, and most of the weight sits at the clasp, which settles it neatly to one side. It is also easier to fasten one-handed than a conventional lobster clasp.
